October 2024
Hello, Xavier Families!
Happy Fall Break to your students! It's been a busy midterm season for everyone, so I'm hopeful your students can take time away from academics. If your student will be in town over the weekend, there's an article with some fun activities to enjoy below.
As we head into October, I am so excited for Family Weekend! I hope you are making plans to join us. If you are new to Family Weekend, be sure to listen to the latest Extended Family podcast episode to learn more about the weekend.
Lastly, if you or your family were impacted by Helene this past week, please know I'm praying for you.
Go X!

RegisterXavier Theatre presents Jesus Christ Superstar during Family Weekend
What's the buzz? Jesus Christ Superstar has wowed audiences for over 50 years. Set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot, Jesus Christ Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ's life. Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Jesus Christ Superstar features music and lyrics by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
Performances take place on Oct. 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. and on Oct. 19 and 20 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 each for adults and $15 each for Xavier students, faculty and staff. Tickets can be purchased online now.
