July 2024
Hello, Xavier Families!
I hope you are having an amazing summer with your student. It's so hard to to believe that it's already July and that next month we'll be kicking off another great academic year at Xavier.
I want to take a moment to officially welcome all our incoming first-year families to this amazing community. I am so excited for you to experience, alongside your student, the energy of move-in and the start of a new school year.
Whether your student will be starting their first semester of college or diving headfirst into their senior year, all of us at Xavier can't wait to have them back on campus. They are the life of this place and we miss them when they're not here.
Enjoy the rest of your summer and we can't wait to see you all soon.
Go X!

Important Education Abroad Reminders
The Education Abroad team welcomes students considering to study abroad during the spring 2025 semester to schedule appointments for advising and begin the application process. Applications are due on September 1, 2024.
Students planning to study abroad in 2024-2025 should apply for a passport, and/or review when their passport expires. As a general rule, most countries require your passport to be valid for 6 months after the departure date back to the US. If your student needs a visa prior to departure, their passport will need to be valid and available to send to a consulate (not in processing) to be able to apply for the visa in the months leading up to departure.
