Hello, Xavier Families!

These first few weeks of school have been a whirlwind of activity with classes, Welcome Week and Club Day. It’s been so fun watching your students outside the Gallagher Student Center, on the Yard, and all around campus, soaking up every moment of this gorgeous weather. Thankfully, your tired students got their first break. I hope they all took full advantage of the long weekend to either unwind or explore the city during Riverfest.

Go X!

  • Fall is nearly upon us. Stock up on all your Xavier essential hoodies, sweatpants, sweatshirts and more at the All For One Shops.

A Message from the Office of Residence Life

  • Residential areas will remain open for the fall break period. Dining offerings may have time adjustments which can be found on the Dine on Campus website.
  • For Thanksgiving break, residential areas will remain open as well. Students will be asked to register starting in early November so we know who will be on campus. Hoff Dining will not be open during Thanksgiving Break.
  • Residential areas close for Winter Break at 5 PM on Friday, December 13th. More information will be shared with students as break gets closer.
  • Rising juniors and seniors living on campus will receive information about the upper-class Housing Selection process for the 2025-2026 academic year to their Xavier email later in September.
