May 2024
Hello, Xavier Families!
May is my favorite time on campus. We begin preparations for commencement and students’ stress levels start to fade now that exams are wrapping up. You can feel the excitement of a much-needed break from classes for everyone.
For so many of you, this will be your last May with us. Each one of your senior students has been on a unique journey over the last four (or more) years and it all culminates on May 11. Our seniors could not have gotten to this point without you all and while they may not say it – you did a great job! On May 11, they will walk into a bright future with many unknowns but will always have the foundation of a Xavier Education to rely on. It is undeniable the impact you all have on your students, and you should be so proud of how far they’ve come.
On behalf of the whole Xavier community, I want to say – thank you. Thank you for allowing us the privilege to walk alongside your family during your student's journey. It has truly been an honor, and just like your students, you are lifelong Musketeers! As I used to tell the students I worked with in the Student Success Center – “Don’t be a stranger”.
As a reminder to those of you who will continue this journey with us -- I will be around all summer. Please feel free to reach out if there's anything you need.
Congratulations and All for One!

Our special guest this month is Stephanie Daniels from our Office of Academic Support and Goa. Did you know we offer free tutoring for all students? Listen in while we talk more about our academic support opportunities here at Xavier so you can help your student feel confident navigating the support they need. I hope this helps are you and your students begin to think about which supports could be helpful over the summer or this fall.
