Muskie Move Out

Too often, that move-out process pushes students and families to make the tough choice to throw away perfectly useful items instead of lugging them all the way home for the summer.

Muskie Move Out is an event that occurs at the end of spring semester as students are moving out of their dorms. Rather than throwing away items that are functional but unwanted, gently used items can be donated to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a charity dedicated to helping families in need throughout Cincinnati and Hamilton County, and Habitat for Humanity. Large Muskie Move Out boxes are located in the lobbies of each dorm (or another designated area) and students are encouraged to leave clothes, linens, toys or anything else they no longer want that is still in decent condition. We take care of the transportation, making donating both the easy and the right thing to do. 

There is a charity box for The Society of St. Vincent de Paul permanently located behind Kuhlman Hall near the C-1 parking lot for year-round donations.

St. Vincent de Paul and Habitat for Humanity ReStore bring trucks in for students to bring their large items to donate. Normally located in the center of campus near Bellarmine circle.
