Residential Permits
Residential parking permits “R”,”RC” and “RV” are restricted to specific lots on campus and parking is not permitted outside of the assigned lots. *Visitor lots and visitor parking spaces are reserved for university visitors only.
Prohibited Parking:
- Parking is never permitted in areas assigned to other permit types.
- Vehicles must be parked in a lined space at all times. Parking is never permitted along roadways or curbs.
- Vehicles may not park in spots designated for specialty use: (handicapped, maintenance vehicle, etc.)
- Permits are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Violating parking rules will result in a citation and fine. Multiple citations may result in booting or towing of vehicle. Fines are avoidable.
Parking at University Station is not permitted with a Xavier University permit. University Station is private property.

Permit valid in R1, R2 & R3 Lots for all students who live in all residence halls, including University Apartments or the Manor House. Permit not valid in the Commons or Village apartment lots. Other lots may be valid for this permit during restricted hours. GAME DAYS: Students parked in either R1 or R3 will be required to relocate their vehicles on home Men’s basketball dates, approximately 18 days per year. |
Permit valid for all students residing in the Commons on-campus apartment complex.

Students with a valid Village parking permit is permitted to park in either R1, R2 or R3 24 hours a day, other than on Home Men's Basketball game days |
