Academic Year Pricing
The following rates apply for the 2024-25 Academic Year. Please see "Parking Areas" link on left for details on lot locations for each permit type.
All vehicles parked on campus are required to have a valid Xavier University permit displayed at all times and must be parked in a lot available to that permit type. An assigned parking permit is transferable from one vehicle to another as long as the alternate vehicle is properly registered to the permit holders parking account.
- Commuter - Full Time: $200
The permit is valid from 6:00 am to 12:00 am in all C-Lots (excluding Employee Reserved section of C-2). Other lots may be valid for this permit during restricted hours. Overnight parking is allowed but only in C-2 lot.
For additional parking assignment information - Resident: $225
Permit valid in R1, R2 & R3 Lots for all students who live in all residence halls, including University Apartments or the Manor House. Permit not valid in the Commons or Village apartment lots. Other lots may be valid for this permit during restricted hours. IMPORTANT: Students parked in R3 will be required to relocate their vehicles on home Mens basketball dates, approximately 18 days per year.
For additional parking assignment information - Xavier Commons Residents: $250
Permit valid for all students residing in the Commons on-campus apartment complex. Other lots may be valid for this permit during restricted hours. IMPORTANT: Commons Permit holders parked in R3 will be required to relocate their vehicles on home Mens basketball dates, approximately 18 days per year.
For additional parking assignment information - Xavier Village Residents: $250
Permit valid for students residing in the Village on-campus apartment complex. Other lots may be valid for this permit during restricted hours. Students with a valid Village parking permit is permitted to park in either R1, R2 or R3 24 hours a day.
For additional parking assignment information - Temporary Commuter/Resident Permits: Monthly: $40; weekly: $15; Overnight/Daily: $4.
Permits may be purchased by Commuters and Residents at the following rates for those who require parking privileges for short periods. - Replacement Permit: $30
If the permit is lost, and can be deactivated and reissued, Replacement permits will be available at the Office of Auxiliary Services at a cost of $30 made paid to the Bursar. - Visitor Permit:
While transitioning to our new software provider, visitor permits can be obtained from Auxiliary Services or Campus Police.
It is an individual's responsibility to understand and comply with all rules and regulations published while operating a motor vehicle on campus. Lack of available parking spaces and failure to comply with these rules and regulations are not a valid excuse for the violation of any and all parking regulations. The purchase of a Xavier Parking Permit does not guarantee a parking space in all lots for which a permit is valid.
