Restricted Parking
Cintas Center and Special Events
Men's Basketball
During men's home basketball games, the numbered spaces in Cohen, Husman, and in front of the Cintas Center must be vacated 2 hours before game time. It is recommended that all Faculty/Staff plan ahead and park in alternate faculty/staff lots on weekdays when a game is scheduled. Students (both undergraduate and graduate) should avoid all "C" parking lots near the Cintas Center on these game nights.
Students who have classes on these evenings are strongly recommended to park in the Smith Lot, University Drive, Gallagher Lot, or the H Lot south of Dana and Woodburn Avenues. Please allow additional time to arrive at your classes on these evenings. Students may also park in the South lot on the West Side of campus.
R3 Lot CLOSED on Game Days
Effective starting the 2021-22 season, the R3 Lot is closed for all men's home basketball games. All vehicles parked in R3 must be relocated no later than 4 hours prior to game time. Alternate lots that are available on these nights include, R2, R1, University Drive, Gallagher Lot, Smith Lot, H Lot, and West Lot. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during these times.
Other Events
Special events do take place in the Cintas Center year-round. Please be aware that parking spaces, especially the C2 and C3 lots closer to the Schiff Family Conference Center, will be limited from time to time throughout a given day and sometimes on short notice. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during these times.
Parking for People with Disabilities
Parking spaces reserved for those with disabilities are located closest to the handicap-accessible doors at each building. Handicap-accessible entrances are clearly marked on building entrances. Please review the Xavier Campus map for further details on availability.
Violations
The fine for a handicap violation is $100 or more, depending on the severity. Any vehicles parked in handicapped spaces on campus without a valid pass should be reported to Parking Services at x1050 or after business hours and evenings by contacting the Xavier Police at x2000.
ADA Parking Privileges
Xavier Parking Services does NOT have the authority to grant parking in a handicapped/ADA space. Please contact the local Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles to request handicap parking information. The following link will provide additional contact information and the necessary forms to be completed.
Reserved Parking
There are a variety of reserved parking areas on campus. Please be mindful of these designated areas and do not park in them unless your permit corresponds appropriately. View a map of reserved parking spots.
LEED Certified Vehicles
Please see the attached list of LEED Certified Green Vehicles. All vehicles meeting these standards may park in any reserved low-emissions vehicle space on campus. These spaces will be enforced according to standards 24/7 on Xavier's campus.
