Safety Education and Crime Prevention

One of XUPD's responsibilities is providing educational programs for the students, faculty, and staff. All XUPD officers are qualified and trained to give community presentations on various safety & crime prevention topics, including Active Aggressor Training, Fire Safety, Crime Prevention, General Campus Safety, and more. Training materials are also available to hand out. Other duties XUPD provides include security surveys of buildings, consultations on security concerns, and monitoring security problems on campus in order to suggest ways of preventing crimes.
