Ofc. Eleazar Alvarez

Officer Eleazar Alvarez was sworn in as a Xavier University Police Department officer in February 2021. He immigrated to the U.S. from Michoacan, Mexico, when he was four years old. He lived in Chicago until he was 10 years old and then moved to Cincinnati. He graduated from Woodward Career Technical High School and attended Northern Kentucky University.

Ofc. Alvarez graduated from the Scarlet Oaks Police Academy in October 2018 and he served the Village of Owensville (OH) for almost two years before coming to the XUPD. His hobbies include exercising, working on cars, traveling, and enjoying time with his pup.
