Entering graduate school is a significant investment in your own professional and personal development. The Xavier GPHSA works with each student on an individual basis to provide the best possible financial aid package we can offer. We are committed to providing you with necessary information vital to making this investment in yourself. Each year we offer a variety of scholarships and financial aid. The amounts vary with each incoming class.
Spring 2025 Executive MHSA Priority Deadline & $2,000 Scholarship
Qualified admitted Executive MHSA students whose application is complete by November 1, 2024 and complete their online interview by December 1, 2024 will receive a $2,000 competitive scholarship for the Spring 2025 term. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Scholarship Criteria. Must meet one or both of the following:
- Academics: Minimum 3.25 GPA from your most recent degree and/or:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience in operations or a clinical position
- November 1, 2024: Priority Deadline. All application materials must be received
- Basic info entered into your free Xavier online application
- 500-750 word personal statement/statement of intent
- Résumé/CV
- Two completed references
- Receipt of official transcripts at Xavier from all former higher ed institutions
- December 1, 2024: Completed online interview
Fall 2025 Full-time MHSA & MHSA/MBA Priority Deadline & Supplemental Scholarships
We are very happy to offer all incoming full-time MHSA students an initial funding offer and applications for competitive Supplemental Scholarships with their acceptance. To qualify for the initial funding, submit your Fall 2025 application by DECEMBER 1, 2024 and be sure to compete your interview by JANUARY 10, 2025.

The 2024-2025 FAFSA form is available now.
You may file your FAFSA form now at StudentAid.gov. Xavier University expects to have access to individual FAFSA data by the beginning of April and will be able to begin preparing 2024-25 aid offers as soon as possible.

Tuition & Fees: Estimates
Tuition & fees vary each year, with rates primarily set by the University. Estimates below are based on the current 2024-25 rates and will change each academic year.

Master of Health Services Administration (Full time, on campus)
At 2024-25 rates of $704/credit, the program cost before funding breaks down like this:

- Graduate Student Association Fee: $25/year annually (3 years)
- MHSA First Year Professional Development Fee: $25 one-time fee
- MHSA Second Year Professional Development Fee: $100 one-time fee
- Parking (Fall & Spring only): $100/semester
- ESTIMATED TOTAL BEFORE FUNDING: $45,656
Full-Time MHSA/MBA Dual Degree (Full time, MHSA on campus/MBA is hybrid)
MHSA/MBA Dual Degree students pay the lower tuition rate of $704/credit, not the higher MBA rate of $919/credit. Additionally, Dual Degree students are eligible for both MHSA & MBA scholarships, offsetting the higher number of credits!

Executive Master of Health Services Administration (Part time, flexible online)
While EMHSA students are not eligible for MHSA funding, XU alumni automatically receive the Loyal Musketeer Scholarship--a 25% tuition discount--and most students in this program are able to use employer benefits & GI bill funding.

- Graduate Student Association Fee: $25/year annually (estimate is based on 3 year completion, but students usually take between 2-5 years, which impacts program total)
