Mission Statement

The Risk Management and Insurance office strives to protect university resources so that the university may pursue its mission of teaching. Our role is to minimize the adverse effects of loss due to accidents or unexpected events that jeopardize the well-being of the university community. We are here to provide protection and services to all departments, faculty, staff, students and visitors. Fulfilling these responsibilities requires close coordination with the entire Xavier community to identify risks and resolve losses.
