Community Partners
Student engagement in the community cannot happen without the commitment and good work of countless area non-profit organizations that host and teach our students throughout Greater Cincinnati. Interested in seeking Xavier student volunteers to support your work? There are a number of opportunities to partner with us:
- Want to reach out to XU students directly, then complete the Volunteer Opportunity Form. Your opportunity will then be reviewed for promotion on our Local Volunteer Opportunities webpage.
- Want your community garden weeded? A wall painted? Or just need some extra hands on a big project? Then consider partnering with XU for Community Action Day (CAD) by completing the CAD Volunteer Project Request and Sites Expectation Form.
- Your organization may also be eligible to be an X-CHANGE weekly service program community partner Site. Interested organizations may complete a Site Application. (Please note that completing an application does not guarantee volunteers. ALL applications are evaluated by a group of student leaders and CFJ staff each summer; decisions are announced in mid August.)
- Norwood and Evanston residents are invited to join Xavier students, faculty, and staff to "grow food on common ground" at the NEXUS Community Garden.
