The D'Artagnan Business Alliance is an exciting initiative designed to bridge the gap between high schools and the Williams College of Business. This partnership offers students unique opportunities to engage with college-level business education, all while still in high school. Teachers can also benefit by gaining access to resources and training that enrich their curriculum. The goal is to create a dynamic learning community where students and educators alike can explore the world of business, sharpen their skills, and build lasting connections that set them up for future success.

Available Programs

 

The D’Artagnan Summer Academy is a one or two-week residential program tailored for exceptional rising high school seniors. This immersive experience features an engaging curriculum, real college classes, including discussions with local business leaders, hands-on projects, and valuable insights from our expert faculty. Participants will benefit from a streamlined application process to Xavier, with completed courses counting toward their future degree.

 

Bring your students to some of Xavier’s flagship events. They provide an exciting introduction to the world of business, featuring speakers from various business fields, and opportunities to network with faculty, Xavier students, and business community members.

  • The Center for Women in Business and Leadership hosts a morning panel discussion for high school women. The panel is led by women business leaders who provide valuable insights and commentary through the panel discussion, as well as small group conversations. The panel is followed by a keynote presentation and luncheon open to the high school women, Xavier faculty and staff, and community members. 
  • The Cintas Institute for Business Ethics Heroes of Ethics Speaker Series features an evening keynote presentation by a prominent speaker with a unique perspective or experience relevant to ethics in the work environment.
  • The Smith Center-Free Market Capitalism Program supports and promotes debate and dialogue. The Center is made up of the college of business honors students and hosts speaker forums, symposiums, and roundtable discussions to engage both the Xavier University community and the public in an objective examination of economic and social issues impacting society. A large panel and keynote event is held each fall.
  • The McCormick Investment Symposium is held on a weekday morning and attracts many school and business community members to hear expert commentary on economics and finances. 

Experience our vibrant campus through customized guided tours and info sessions. Students will explore the WCB, learn about our degrees and Centers of Excellence, and discover the resources available to help them succeed.

 

Collaborate on third-party events that promote Xavier University and your school. These events often include workshops, competitions, and seminars designed to enhance students' business acumen and connect them with industry professionals.

 

Support teachers with CE opportunities that enhance their ability to teach business concepts effectively. These free workshops focus on innovative teaching strategies, curriculum development, and resource access.

 

Get ready for a visit from our faculty and students who’ll share dynamic insights about our programs, career paths, and life at Xavier. Further, our faculty are eager to share their expertise and support your AP classes to help you thrive!
