Heroes of Professional Ethics Series
The Heroes of Professional Ethics Series is an annual event that celebrates the importance of ethics in the workplace. The event is sponsored by Jerry and Janet Belle, the Cintas Corporation and Xavier University. Each year, the event's sponsors will present a keynote speaker with a unique perspective or experience relevant to ethics in the work environment.Distinguished Speaker Series
Presented by the Williams College of Business, the Distinguished Speaker Series is an annual series of presentations by prominent leaders designed to educate, enlighten and inspire. Past distinguished speakers have included: ‘Moneyball’ baseball sabermetrics creator Bill James, journalist Bill Hemmer, former Olympus president Michael Woodford, Procter and Gamble president and chief executive officer Bob McDonald, the Kroger Company’s chairman David Dillon and CEO and Charles Geschke, co-founder of Adobe Systems.
The series brings top-level business, academic and political leaders to campus to discuss world issues, introduce new ideas, generate discussion and further the educational mission of the college. Additionally, students, faculty, alumni and members of the business community have the opportunity to interact with the speaker at each event. Attendance is free due to PNC sponsorship; however, seating is limited and RSVP is required.
We are pleased to host the Distinguished Speaker Series to highlight business leaders and their organizations, as well as provide our students and faculty access to best practices and networking. Stephen S. Smith Center Speakers
The Smith Center supports and promots debate and dialogue. The Center hosts speaker forums, symposiums, and rountable discussions to engage both the Xavier University community and the public in an objecive examination of economic and social issues impacting society.
