At Xavier's Williams College of Business (WCB), we are invested in the education of our students. We offer academic scholarships to recognize students for their achievements, and to make higher education accessible to a large population. Our WCB graduate scholarships align with Xavier’s mission to provide an environment of belonging, and of open and free inquiry, as we prepare students for a world that is increasingly complex and interdependent. Driven by our commitment to educating the whole person, promoting the common good and serving others, the WCB community challenges and supports all our members as we cultivate lives of reflection, compassion and informed action. Breaking Barriers Scholarship
Breaking barriers in business is essential for fostering innovation and growth. By overcoming traditional obstacles, businesses can unlock new opportunities, encourage creativity, and drive success across all levels of leadership and decision-making.
The Breaking Barriers Scholarship program particularly invests in students who pursue graduate business studies as they break down barriers from the classroom to the C-Suite.

Scholarship for Justice and Belonging (JAB) in Business
A sense of belonging in business leads to higher employee engagement and retention. Gallup found that employees who feel connected to their workplace are 3.5 times more likely to be engaged. Fostering belonging improves team collaboration, innovation, and overall organizational success, driving better outcomes for both employees and businesses.
Graduate Business Ignite Scholarship
Rooted in the Jesuit tradition founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola, our students are transforming the way business is done. Students and alums from Xavier’s WCB are driving change through decision making and strategy setting. We are committed to assisting students who further the vision and mission of the college. While consideration will be given to all, the focus will be on students who:
- displayed excellence in academics,
- have work experience in the non-profit sector, demonstrating outstanding work towards a more universal good and
- demonstrate operational strength and effective stewardship.

Scholarship
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) helps children realize their potential and build their futures. BBBS's vision, to help “All youth achieve their full potential”, is also at the center of our Jesuit Values of Cura Personalis and Magis. To that end, the WCB has partnered with BBBS of Greater Cincinnati to award $30,000 annually in Graduate Scholarships to Bigs, who have:
- displayed excellence in academics,
- been outstanding mentors of BBBS of Greater Cincinnati to their Littles for at least 2 years
Graduate Business BBBS Scholarship details
Loyal Musketeer Scholarship
The Loyal Musketeer Scholarship is available to all graduating Xavier students and alumni who wish to pursue a graduate degree at Xavier. The scholarship is equal to 25 percent off the program tuition rate for most graduate programs. All Xavier alumni who enroll in a graduate degree program at Xavier are eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship applies to graduate degree-seeking students for both part-time and full-time enrollment, with a minimum of 6 credit-hours per semester.
