Big Brothers Big Sisters Scholarship
Eligibility
Any student enrolled in any graduate business program (excluding EMBA) at Xavier University, who demonstrates academic excellence, and who has been serving as a mentor in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati for at least 2 years.
Award determination
- Qualifying students will be determined based on their overall admission application
- Preference will be given to students who demonstrate academic excellence
- Priority is given to Bigs who have been outstanding mentors for their Littles
- Individuals receiving tuition remission from Xavier University are not eligible
Scholarship Commitments
- Remain outstanding mentors for their Littles during the duration of their scholarship.
Application Deadline
Applications are for one academic year, i.e. Fall, Spring, and Summer I. Application deadlines are as follows:
- Friday, March 21st 2025, for award period Fall 25, Spring 26, Summer I 26: Preference given to returning students
- Friday, June 6th 2025, for award period Fall 25, Spring 26, Summer I 26:
- Friday, August 8th 2025, for award period Fall 25, Spring 26, Summer I 26: Preference given to new students
- Friday, November 14th 2025, for award period Spring 26, Summer I 26: Preference given to students enrolling in Spring 26
