The Williams College of Business

Grant Application

DeadlineA student must submit an application before the official start of the program to be considered for an award in the next academic year. A student must be fully admitted to a graduate business program for a grant to be awarded.

In order to be considered for a Williams College of Business graduate grant, this application must be completed along with the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). To complete the FAFSA, go to www.fafsa.edu/gov and submit the information online. You will need your tax return to complete the FAFSA. Xavier's federal school code is 003144.

Graduate Business Study grants are available for fully admitted graduate business students only and who are in good academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Dismissal from the graduate business program or receiving a failing grade or having a cumulative g.p.a. below 3.0 will result in a loss of the Graduate Business Study grant. Provisionally admitted and MBA Plus students are not eligible for grant consideration. The grants are partial tuition awards, which are designed to assist students with financing their graduate studies. Grant awards are made based on financial need, merit, and the availability of funds. Therefore, grants may or may not mirror previous grants received. Grants are not renewable or transferrable.

YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A GRADUATE BUSINESS STUDY GRANT IF YOU:

  • Receive full employer tuition reimbursement
  • Are a Xavier employee or an employee's dependent
  • Receive any other Xavier grant or tuition discount
