Step 1 - Log in to the Student HUB
Directions for how to log in the first time and set up your password. You will need the username and banner ID number from your admissions letter to log into this system.
Log into your current student HUB account.
As a new MBA student, you have immediate access to many online services through our current student HUB. You may review available MBA classes, check your Xavier email and access the Xavier Pay electronic billing system.
Step 2 - Meet with an academic advisor.
As a newly admitted student and throughout the course of your MBA, the MBA Office requires you to meet with an academic advisor. Your classes are pre-set as part of the Full-time MBA cohort, but you will work with your advisor to discuss elective options, program options, and the required professional development program. Advisors can also help you determine a plan for completing prerequisites, if needed. To schedule your advising appointment, please complete this form.
Step 3 - Learning Assistance
New students in need of accommodations while taking graduate classes should contact the Learning Assistance Center, which oversees Accessibility and Disability Resources for all Xavier students. Please visit the website for steps on how to document, access the reasonable and appropriate accommodations as well as support services needed during your time as a graduate student at Xavier University.

Step 5 - Payment Options and Parking Permits.
- Select your Payment Option: Learn about the payment plans available to students through the Bursar's website. Students may select a payment plan (x-Flex) or to pay in full. Submission of the payment plan is administered through the current student HUB. You can enroll in the Payment Plan by logging in to the current student HUB, clicking on the Self -Service box, going to the student tab, click Billing and payments, and then on the link called My Bursar Account. You may check your current balance at anytime via this link as well as make a full or monthly payment.
- Shortly after being enrolled in courses you will receive a green envelope in the mail at your home address from Higher One containing your My One Card. Your My One Card is a Debit MasterCard and is not a credit card. This card can help you in receiving any credit (over payment) on your student account.
- Review the billing schedule
- Parking Permit: In order to park on campus you must have a valid parking permit. The ConneX Office provides information on cost, where to park and how to order your parking permit online.
Step 6 - Attend new student orientation.
Orientation will be held in August, before classes begin. More information will be forthcoming via email.
Step 7 - First Campus visit...
- One Pass: The One Pass is the identification for each Xavier student and is required for library services and after hours access to many campus buildings including Smith Hall.
- Bookstore : The Xavier Bookstore is located on the first floor of the Gallagher Student Center. Textbooks may be purchased or rented in person or online.
- Printing on campus : Printing is free on campus via personal computer or University systems up to a specified page limit after which a fee per page is charged.
- Campus Map : A printable campus map along with directions to campus are found on this site. The MBA Office is located in room 120B of Smith Hall at the intersection of Dana Ave and St. Francis Xavier Way.
Step 8 - What's next?
- Connect with the Career Development Office . As you begin your MBA career, take advantage from the start of the services available though the MBA career development office. All services are free of charge to new students. Even if you are not planning a career change immediately, why not brush up on your interviewing skills or update your resume?
- Visit the Current Student section of the WCB website . Through this site you can view curriculum and concentration information, forms, request past course syllabi, waiver exam details, information on MBA global program opportunities, financial options and much more.
