WEEK OF WELCOME
August 17, 2024 - August 27, 2024
The Week of Welcome (WoW) is a week of FREE events welcoming first year and transfer students and welcoming back returning students. Week of Welcome is coordinated and promoted by the Office of Student Involvement, but made possible by the dozens of departments and student organizations sponsoring events throughout the week. Xavier University recognized student organizations, offices, and departments are invited to propose to host a Week of Welcome event. WoW is strictly for Xavier student organizations, offices, and departments. Vendors and outside organizations looking to have a presence during this week can propose to be a sponsor of Club Day.

This comprehensive 60-minute session provides an overview of the necessary tools and guidelines to get started running a successful organization. Whether you're a new club officer or an experienced leader, a big club or small, this course is designed to introduce you to or refresh your knowledge of club management.
Student Organization Workshops are August 19-24, 2024
Student Workshop is mandatory. If your organization chooses not to attend you will not be allowed to participate in Club Day. Due to space limitations reservations are required. Please RSVP for one of the sessions below:

CLUB DAY

With over 150 campus clubs to choose from, our student organizations truly offer something for everyone! Students have an opportunity to meet and interact with most of these groups at the annual Club Day event where they can get information about how to join and also about upcoming events and activities! Club Day Registration is now open!
Process to Register:
Registration is now open! Only recognized Student Organizations (including Limited Affiliation Groups) are eligible to exhibit at Club Day along with Xavier Offices and Departments.
To register, interested groups must complete this registration form. Once approved, we will contact the submitter to inform you of your acceptance and provide further instruction. Specific location requests will not be considered. Student organizations will be assigned a location based on their organization type. View the registration form.
Fundraising is prohibited at Club Day. You may not collect money or operate any kind of fundraiser at your table. You are welcome to promote upcoming fundraisers as long as they are registered, approved fundraisers with the Office of Student Involvement.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION ACADEMY
Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 10am-4pm
Student Organization Academy is a half-day training for student organization officers, offering valuable insight and education around how to lead their organization for the upcoming academic year.
The Academy will feature a meal and keynote address followed by a variety of sessions offered by Xavier staff and faculty where attendees can choose which sessions that best fit their organization’s needs, their officer role and their interests. This event is mandatory for student organization Presidents and Treasurers.

WINTER WEEK OF WELCOME (WOW)
January 13-18, 2025
The Winter Week of Welcome (WoW) is a week of FREE events welcoming first year and transfer students to campus and welcoming back returning students to Xavier University. Winter WoW is coordinated and promoted by the Office of Student Involvement, but made possible with the support of other clubs and departments sponsoring some events throughout the week. Xavier University recognized student organizations, offices, and departments are invited to propose to host a Winter Week of Welcome event. Registration to include events for Winter WoW will open in November 2024. Winter WoW is strictly for Xavier student organizations, offices, and departments.

Registration Opens November 1, 2024.
Process to Register:
Only recognized Student Organizations (including Limited Affiliation Groups) are eligible to exhibit at Winter Club Day. To register, interested groups must complete a registration form. Once approved, we will contact the submitter to inform you of your acceptance and provide further instruction. Specific location requests will not be considered. Deadline to register is Friday, January 10th at noon.
Xavier Offices and Departments are not invited to exhibit at Winter Club Day due to space limitations. Gallagher Student Center offices are invited to host open houses during the event.
