The Student Engagement Team provide meaningful and enjoyable social, cultural, and educational programs that appeal to the widest group of students possible and are accessible to all students.
OUR WORK
We create exciting weekly events that energize the atmosphere, foster a lively community, and provide a unique Xavier experience!
Treat Yourself Tuesdays are regular events for students to enjoy various activities, including make-and-take projects, exclusive discounts from local vendors, and animal experiences, allowing them to unwind and treat themselves. These events have included stuff-a-plushed animal, artisan soap-making, 10-minute massage sessions, goat yoga, petting zoo, and more.
Game Night Thursdays are bi-weekly events that feature Bingo with big prizes, Karaoke, Family Feud competitions, and Last Call Trivia nights for students to showcase their knowledge. It's a great way to unwind and enjoy friendly competition.
Food Truck Fridays are a weekly event featuring various food trucks from Cincinnati, allowing students to experience the city's diverse cuisine. Some popular foods have included Argentinian empanadas, fish and chips, gourmet cookies, Jamaican jerk chicken, and waffles with loads of toppings!
Xplore Cincy is an adventure series, taking students off-campus to explore the vibrant city of Cincinnati! From thrilling sports events (Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Cyclones, FC Cincinnati soccer) to touring concerts and Broadway shows, to one-of-a-kind Cincinnati traditions (Blink, Oktoberfest, Zoo Festival of Lights), our programs help Musketeers explore many of our unique neighborhoods. We want students to fully take advantage of the urban setting beyond campus!
GSC Watch Parties are where we showcase major sporting events, including Xavier basketball away games, featuring delicious food and inflatable seating for a fun experience with friends and fellow students.
