Inclement Weather Policy

The Department of Recreational Sports will operate as follows in the event of inclement weather: 

Decisions regarding the delayed opening of the Recreation Center will be made no later than 5:00am daily. Communications regarding operational status will be recorded on the Membership Service Desk voicemail, (513) 745-3208. The voicemail will have the most up to date information, and updates will also be posted via our social media (@XavierRecSports). 

In the event of inclement weather that alters the operational hours for the department, we will observe the following Weather Emergency hours: 

• Monday through Friday, 10am-8pm
• Saturday and Sunday, 10am-7pm

If weather worsens, the Recreational Sports Management Staff has the right to close the department at any time, and information will be updated on the Membership Service Desk voicemail, as well as on our social media. 

If we are short of staff, concessions will have to be made to keep the facility operational. This may result in the closing of the pool, or cancellation of programming. We appreciate your cooperation.
