Program Belongingness & Inclusion Subcommittee

  • Faculty Member:
    • Dr. Jen Gibson
      • Dr. Gibson has been a faculty member in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program since 2011. She emphasizes the committee's powerful impact on the SoP, which includes developing and implementing a climate survey, effectively advocating for changes in policy, and effectively advocating for diverse hiring and representation.

    • Emma Peirce
      • Emma is a 2nd-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program and the Co-Chair of the committee. 
    • Maanasa Nandula
      • Maanasa is a 4th-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program. Her favorite aspect of being in the PsyDAC is having the opportunity to share her experiences with incoming students and collaborating with and learning from students from other cohorts in the program.
    • Khalid Yusuf
      • Khalid is a 3rd-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program. He has enjoyed the tight-knit community he has become a part of and the collaborative environment of the PsyDAC.
    • Allison Tay
      • Allison is a 1st-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. They've loved the community they've come to know here and are excited to collaborate with their peers in PsyDAC to ensure everyone feels they have a space where they belong.
    • Andrea Faggioli
      • Andrea is a 2nd-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program, and she is in the Program Belongingness & Inclusion Subcommittee. She joined the PsyDAC because she wanted to be more involved in the SoP and collaborate with other students in the program.
    • Kate Salva
      • Kate is a 1st-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program and is on the Program Belongingness & Inclusion Subcommittee. Her favorite aspects of being in the PsyDAC is the supportive community, and being able to contribute to a positive school climate.

    • Connor Hamilton
      • Connor is a 4th-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program and Co-Chair of the committee. He has greatly enjoyed facilitating the difficult dialogues workshops that this subcommittee has hosted.
    • Audrey Peterman
      • Audrey is a 1st-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program. She joined the PsyDAC to help ensure that everyone has the same wonderful experience on campus that she did as an undergraduate student of Xavier as well. 
    • Pooja Heragu
      • Pooja is a 2nd-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program. She most enjoys working in a group to analyze and compile results from the PsyDAC's climate survey.
    • Delaney Carey
      •  Delaney is a 1st-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program. She joined PsyDAC to help learn and lead difficult dialogues workshops in order to increase mutual understanding and respect in the communities around her.
    • Julia Raytselis
      • Julia is a 1st-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program. She joined PsyDAC to contribute to the group's efforts to make the PsyD program an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students and to create safe spaces for necessary, though challenging, conversations within the university community.

    • Kristen Smalling
      • Kristen is a 2nd-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program and Co-Chair of the committee. She joined the PsyDAC so that she could contribute to keeping the Psy.D. program as a place where students can feel safe and accepted for who they are.
    • Hannah Geiger
      • Hannah is a 4th-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program. Her favorite moment from the PsyDAC was our most recent Friendsgiving where we got to share some delicious food, including Dr. Gibson's fry bread!
    • Victoria White
      • Victoria is a 3rd-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program. Her favorite aspect of being in the PsyDAC has been collaborating with her peers to foster a climate where others feel safety and belonging.
    •  Trinity Weisensel 
      • Trinity is a 1st-year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. She appreciates the opportunity to contribute to and get involved with the larger Cincinnati community through the work that PsyDAC does.
