Exemptions

Medical

• If a student has a medical condition that prohibits completing one or more of the requirements, the student may submit a medical exemption.
• Medical exemptions must be completed by a licensed medical provider and uploaded to your account at MedProctor.

Religious

• If a student objects to the requirement based on religious beliefs, the student may submit a Religious exemption.
• The exemption must be notarized by a Notary Public and uploaded to your account at MedProctor.

Students in programs requiring clinical experiences may need to submit immunization verification through additional University systems (ex. CastleBranch, ViewPoint Screening, etc.)

*Xavier partners with numerous institutions to provide our students with comprehensive and fulfilling clinical experiences. Students may seek an exemption to the immunization and vaccination requirements from Xavier but must be aware that the clinical partner institutions may not recognize the immunization exemption. In such circumstances, Xavier will take reasonable steps to find an alternative clinical placement but cannot guarantee that such a placement will exist for each clinical setting.
