Students with Tuition Exchange, FACHEX, Tuition Remission, or any other full-tuition scholarship or grant may be ineligible for additional Xavier scholarships or private scholarship options.
Allgeyer Art
- Amount: 1/2 tuition or 1/4 tuition
- Number Awarded: One 1/2 tuition or two 1/4 tuition
- Scholarship Criteria: Awarded to an art major who has demonstrated exceptional talent, interest and leadership in art. The Allgeyer is awarded during sophomore or junior year to be used during junior and/or senior year.

Clifford S. Besse, S.J.
- Amount: $2,000
- Number Awarded: One or Two
- Scholarship Criteria: Awarded to a junior or senior demonstrating academic strength, interest in the field of industrial relations and respect for working people.

Albert J. Bischoff
- Amount: Up to $3,000
- Number Awarded: Up to Six
- Scholarship Criteria: Minimum 2.5 CGPA to apply. Awarded to a full-time sophomore, junior or senior with demonstrated financial need; must file the 2024-25 FAFSA. Exceptional student conduct/activities required.
- Application available in March.
- Deadline: May 1; student selected by end of June.
John and Cameron Cox
- Amount: Up to $2,000
- Number Awarded: One
- Scholarship Criteria: Florida resident; preference to graduate of Cardinal Mooney HS, Sarasota, FL; resident of Sarasota, Manatee or Charlotte counties, Florida.

Mary Dahlstrom
- Amount: $2,500
- Number Awarded: One
- Scholarship Criteria: Awarded to an early or middle education major who demonstrates active involvement in student activities. It is awarded during sophomore year, to be used during junior year.

Downing Scholarship/Mentor Program
- Amount: $2,000 per semester
- Number Awarded: Varies
- Scholarship Criteria: Awarded to students who have junior standing (at least 55 credit hours) who have three semesters remaining in the Williams College of Business.

Fathers James Hoff and Michael Lavelle
- Amount: Up to $4,000
- Number Awarded: Two
- Scholarship Criteria: Minimum 3.2 CGPA to apply. Awarded to a full-time undergraduate with financial need; must file the 2024-25 FAFSA. Scholarship also based on academic accomplishments and involvement on campus.
- Application available in March.
- Deadline: May 1; student selected by end of June.
HUB International Scholarship (formerly Horan Free Throw Scholarship)
- Amount: $2,500
- Number Awarded: Three
- Scholarship Criteria: Employee of a current client of HUB or the spouse or dependent of an employee of a current client of HUB; enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Xavier University (excludes ABSN, APEX, and graduate programs), having completed at least one semester; and submitted the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form available at www.fafsa.gov.
- Xavier employees and their dependents who are receiving tuition remission are not eligible for the HUB scholarship.
- Deadline: April 5, 2024.
Karen Marie Jarc

- Scholarship Criteria: Awarded in the spring semester (only) to the senior majoring in Montessori education who has the highest grade point average.

Antonio Johnson

- Scholarship Criteria: Awarded to a junior of African descent/member of Black Student Association who has demonstrated academic excellence, outstanding leadership, involvement, service and who has made a significant contribution to Xavier's Black Student Association. Students are nominated for this scholarship by another student, staff or faculty member.

Paul L. O'Connor, S.J.

- Scholarship Criteria: Awarded to a Xavier student who will be a senior in the 2024-25 academic year. The O’Connor Scholarship is awarded in recognition of outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement and contribution to Xavier. Students must be nominated for this scholarship by the chair of their academic department. Students in Radiologic Tech, ABSN, or APEX/ADC programs are not eligible to apply. Students who already have full-tuition scholarships or tuition remission also are not eligible.

Distinguished Physics Professor
- Amount: Up to $6,000

- Scholarship Criteria: Awarded to the full-time undergraduate Physics major(s) entering the final year of the program (i.e. senior year) demonstrating the highest academic record, exceptional intellectual curiosity, and excellence and accomplishment in the field of physics.

The Savage Scholarship is awarded in recognition of commitment to, and excellence in, the humanities. Students must be nominated for this scholarship by the chair of their academic department. - Scholarship Criteria: Awarded to students in the College of Arts and Sciences who have completed at least 24 credit hours at Xavier and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students must file the 2024-25 FAFSA, as demonstrated financial need is a consideration for this award.

William J. Williams Family Scholarship
- Amount: Up to $5000
- Number Awarded: Varies
- Scholarship Criteria: Awarded to students in the Williams College of Business who have completed at least 24 credit hours at Xavier and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students must file the 2024-25 FAFSA, as demonstrated financial need is a consideration for this award.
- Application available in March.
- Deadline: May 1; student selected by end of June.
Women of Excellence
- Amount: Up to $5,000
- Number Awarded: Two
- Scholarship Criteria: Awarded to female student - incoming, current, undergrad or grad, full or part-time, who has a demonstrated interest or involvement in women's causes, demonstrated leadership, and demonstrated service. Recipient is expected to be involved in WOX activities. Students must file the 2024-25 FAFSA form.
- Minimum CGPA is 2.75 first year and sophomore students; 3.0 junior and senior students.
- Application available in March.
- Deadline: May 1; student selected by end of June.
