Remote and Hybrid Teaching Resources

The CTE, together with Instructional Design & Technology and Digital Media Services, are continuing to develop resources and offer trainings to support faculty for hybrid, remote, and online teaching in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Spring 2021 Preparation for Remote Teaching  This self-paced course provides guidance on using the Canvas course templates and best practices in remote and online instruction (you must be signed into Canvas to access it). If you are not enrolled in this course, contact idt@xavier.edu.

Canvas Instructor Training  This self-paced course trains instructors in the functions of Canvas; find more details and register at the link.

Instructional Continuity website  This site includes strategies and information to support remote teaching, including an archive of webinars and resources offered in the spring and summer of 2020.
