Assurance Argument

The HLC Comprehensive Evaluation includes an Assurance Argument and a Federal Compliance Report, as well as a COVID-19 Institutional Response Form. The HLC Reaccreditation Steering Committee developed drafts in 2019-2020 and sought feedback from the entire campus community--students, staff, faculty, administrators--from March 30-April 17, 2020. The Board of Trustees reviewed drafts in September 2020. New revisions were posted in September 2020 and February 2021, and shared with the campus community via Today at Xavier. The final Assurance Argument was submitted to HLC on March 15, 2021.

Please note that the links in the Assurance Argument are not live. That is because all of the documents are uploaded into HLC's system (including websites, which per HLC requirements, have been captured as PDFs). If you would like to review a specific piece of evidence, please contact Rachel Chrastil.

The links in the Federal Compliance Report are live, since one purpose of the Federal Compliance Report is to demonstrate that students have access to specific Xavier policies and procedures directly and in real time.
