EMPOWERING FAMILIES SYMPOSIUM: SEPTEMBER 27, 2024
Developed in partnership with families and sponsored by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, The Cincinnati Children's Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND), and Xavier University, this event is a valuable opportunity for our community.
The symposium will take place on:
Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Xavier University Cintas Center, Schiff Family Conference Center.
This year's theme, "Let's Focus on Education," features a range of workshops, including:
- Understanding the IEP Process*
- Behavior Support and Intervention at School*
- IEP and Educational Advocacy*
- Transitions Throughout the Lifespan
- Parent and Sibling Panel Discussions
*These workshops will be available in both English and Spanish.
Additionally, the Resource Fair offers a fantastic opportunity for non-profit, government, and other organizations to connect with families and children they serve. Below, you will find flyers with details about promotional packages, exhibits, topics, and sponsorship opportunities.
Continuing Education credits will be available for various professions.
