BAIS 500 Waiver Exam

A waiver exam is available for BAIS 500: Business Statistics. Successful completion of this course or the BAIS 500 waiver exam is required prior to enrollment in Core MBA classes MGMT 551 and FINC 550 or in the M.S. Customer Analytics (MSCA) program.

The exam may be administered during office hours in person or via online proctoring. The fee for in-person will only be assessed to students who earn a passing score while those choosing to the use the online exam are charged for the proctoring service regardless of exam score.

The BAIS 500 waiver examination costs $75.00 in person (passing) while rates vary for online based on scheduling.

The BAIS 500 exam requires a 70% score to pass.

Students are given one opportunity to test out of BAIS 500. If a passing score is not earned then the corresponding course must be completed.

The waiver exam must be taken by the end of the first calendar year in the MBA program for part-time students or by the end of the first semester for full-time students. For the MSCA program, the waiver exam must be taken prior to enrolling in BAIS 660.
