The Xavier University Application Process
Xavier has six different types of applications that prospective students may choose from when starting the application process. While the application you will choose depends on your own personal situation, they all have three basic requirements.
- Official certificate of completion or transcript from secondary education (high school)
- Official transcripts from any/all colleges or universities attended (including Joint Service Transcript or Community College of the Air Force transcript for Veterans)
- A 250-500 word writing sample
When your application is complete and all required materials are received, it will be reviewed for an admission decision by the Veterans Admissions Counselor. You will be notified by the Office of Admissions and the Veteran and Military Family Center of you admissions decision within 48 hours of receipt of all required materials. If you have submitted transfer credit, once you are admitted, your transcript is sent to the Office of the Registrar for the official transfer evaluation.
