Summer Project Report Submission
All students participating in summer research with Xavier faculty must submit a 1 page Project Reflection by the start of Fall semester.
Why do you have to this? Program organizers need feedback to ensure that the program is meeting it goals, which are to provide experiential learning opportunities and help students in career discernment and development. We are less concerned with the specific outcomes of your project and more focused on understanding how the experience impacted you. By reflecting on your goals, progress, and what you have learned, you provide valuable insights that help us improve the program and better support you.
Please follow this format for your reflection:
1st paragraph: Summarize the goals of your project. Provide context about the importance of this project in relation to your academic or personal development.
2nd paragraph: Summarize the outcome of your project. If your project is still in progress, use this paragraph to provide an update of your progress. Highlight any significant milestones or achievements.
3rd paragraph: Reflect on what you have learned from this experience. Consider the skills you have developed, any new insights gained, and how this project has influenced your thinking. Discuss the impact this experience has had on your choice of vocation and how it has helped prepare you for your future career.
