These highly competitive grants in amounts up to $2,000 per year are annually awarded to qualified students participating in instrumental or vocal ensembles and theatre, regardless of their major course of study.

Music Grants
- Students must be admitted by their audition date to compete for these awards.
The department of music awards music grants in varying amounts up to $5,000 to students who intend to major in music. Auditions may be scheduled throughout the year by contacting the department of music. All music scholarships and grants are renewable each year for four years. These grants are available for incoming freshmen students only.

Edgecliff McAuley Music Scholarship

Music scholarships and grants are awarded on a competitive basis to outstanding musicians who intend to major in music or music education. The McAuley Music Scholarships are awarded to outstanding music applicants, based upon musical talent and achievement. These scholarships are available for incoming freshmen students only.

Edgecliff McAuley Art Scholarships
Several scholarships are awarded to incoming first-year students with good academic achievement and outstanding artistic talent. The combined four-year value of these awards is nearly $250,000. Typical art scholarships range in value from quarter to full tuition and are awarded based upon artistic talent and achievement. Portfolios are to be submitted to the department of art. Students must be admitted to the University before entering the competition.
