Metro 30-day Bus Pass - Limited Time
Xavier has partnered with Metro to secure free 30-day Metro bus passes for students for the start of the Fall 2024 semester. The pilot program will help us determine student usage of Metro and the potential for Xavier and Metro to enter into a longer-term partnership.
The passes go live on Friday, August 30 (right before Labor Day Weekend).
In order to get access to a free pass, students need to follow the 3-step process below. See the Metro Pass Flyer for details.
- Download the Transit app and create an account using their Xavier email address. Use this Step-by-Step Guide.
- Add the EZ Fare Ticketing option to your account in the Transit app.
- Confirm your registration by completing the Xavier form on EngageXU.
Metro will be on campus to promote the opportunity, assist with sign-ups, and share information about local routes on the following dates:
- Tuesday, 8/27 from 4pm-7pm, outside the GSC, during Treat Yourself Tuesday
- Wednesday, 8/28 from 2pm-5pm, on the Xavier Yard during Club Day
