Involvement Internships
Student Involvement's Interns are student leaders who work as a team to assist with the advancement of Office of Student Involvement programs and provide direct support for the office while continually developing and enhancing their individual leadership skills and talents. Responsibilities range from creating and facilitating programs and events, designing graphics and promotions, offering support and training for student clubs and organizations, curating social media and managing day-to-day logistics and tasks within our office.
Our interns are instrumental in helping us to execute major programs and events, such as the Student Org Academy, Week of Welcome, Club Day, and Family Weekend.
Application and Selection Process
We are currently hiring four (4) students for these roles either this summer and/or the full academic year (fall/spring). Applications are through Handshake with a deadline of Monday, April 3 at noon.
Summer Organizations Intern (summer)
This intern works 15 hours/week during the summer to support student organizations and events related to the start of the year - Week of Welcome, Club Day and Student Organization Academy.

Creative Design Lead (summer/fall/spring)
More than just a graphic designer, this intern helps drive the branding connected to the Office of Student Involvement and our programming, which reaches nearly every student across campus. This intern will work 12 hours/week throughout the summer and 8 hours/week during the academic year.

Social Media Manager (summer/fall/spring)
The Office of Student Involvement/GSC social media accounts are a relied upon resource by students, parents, and alums to stay up to date on current campus culture. This role will maintain these accounts and provide direction on the ever-changing climate of social media through the summer and academic year.

Student Organizations & Programming Intern (fall/spring)
This intern works 8 hours/week during the academic year, supporting student organizations and their reporting (including the Baseline program) as well as a variety of events such as Winter Club Day, Winter Week of Welcome and more.
