The Exchange Event Series

"The Exchange", sponsored by President Colleen Hanycz, is Xavier University’s forum for bold, open dialogue. Students engage directly with thought leaders, community advocates, industry experts and, importantly, one another on emerging issues that shape our world.

More than a speaker series, "The Exchange" is a call to action: to challenge and be challenged, to question and discern, and to embrace the Jesuit tradition of rigorous intellectual inquiry. Just as iron sharpens iron, we know that the best education comes from exploring ideas held in tension. It's why we are intentionally cultivating brave spaces where students can explore a broad spectrum of viewpoints and learn through practice the skills they need to navigate complexity with conviction.

Whether on a stage or around a table, The Exchange is one of many ways Xavier empowers students to think critically and create an open marketplace of ideas.
