Zhiqi Yuan, born in 2001 in China, commenced her musical education at the Beijing Central Music College, where she laid the foundation for her passion and skill. At the age of 16, she was admitted to the prestigious Hamburg University for Music and Theater in Germany for undergraduate studies, marking the beginning of her international musical pursuits. Continuing her journey at the Royal College of Music in the United Kingdom, Zhiqi pursued postgraduate studies with the esteemed Professor Sofya Gulyak at age of 19, followed by an Artist Diploma. Notably, at 21 years old, she furthered her commitment to excellence by securing a full scholarship for her Doctor of Music Arts, studying under the guidance of distinguished professors Polina Bespalko and Awadagin Pratt. Alongside her academic achievements, Zhiqi has curated a series of captivating concerts that have resonated with audiences and critics alike, earning her widespread acclaim for her remarkable and emotive performances.

Zhiqi has distinguished by a series of triumphant achievements, claimed 1st prizes in prestigious competitions including the New York Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition, the 30th Young Musician International Competition "Citta Di Barletta," and the International Music Competition London "Grand Prize Virtuoso." Noteworthy accomplishments also include securing 2nd prizes in the X International Music Competition AMIGDALA "Giuseppe Raciti" Memorial and the International "W. A. Mozart" Piano Competition etc.. Invitations to perform at renowned venues such as Solitär, Mozarteum (Salzburg), Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall in the UK, and Bonn Beethoven House in Germany attest to the pianist's global recognition and proficiency in delivering captivating piano performances.
