2024-2025 Season

The Xavier University Music Series is proud to announce its 2024-2025 season, continuing its tradition of bringing the very best to Cincinnati. With so many unique atmospheres and artists, the 2024-2025 season truly features something for everyone.

Box Office

Directions and Parking

Most concerts are held in the Gallagher Student Center Theatre, accessible via University Drive. Jazz and Guitar events are frequently held in Bellarmine Chapel, also on Xavier's Campus. We look forward to welcoming you!

2024 - Soft Kill with opening act Fotocrime

Starting with the seminal “An Open Door” and including stand out records like 2016’s “Choke” and 2020’s Billboard chart topping “Dead Kids, R.I.P. City”.

Soft Kill from Chicago Illinois is the brainchild of Tobias Grave, making morose and infectious punk songs since 2011. Tobias’ struggle with addiction and loss have created a depth and emotional landscape often missing from the genre.

Brian Marsella is a pianist, composer, bandleader and educator living in New Jersey. A Philadelphia native, Marsella moved to New York in 1998 and has been touring and recording consistently since.

2025 - Zlata Chochieva

Jeremy Nicholas exclaimed “it is certainly one of the most consistently inspired, masterfully executed and beautiful-sounding versions I can recall.”

At only four years old, Zlata made her first stage appearance and just three years later, gave her debut with orchestra performing a Mozart Concerto at Grand Hall of Moscow State Conservatory. Along with an orchestral repertoire of over 50 concerti, Zlata Chochieva is a devoted chamber music performer having worked with Stephen Kovacevic, Lynn Harrell, Gilles Apap, and Jacquelyn Wagner, among others.
