Schmidt Memorial Fieldhouse

Overlooking the O'Connor Sports Center, Schmidt Memorial Fieldhouse used to be the center of activity for Xavier University. The Fieldhouse held all student assemblies and indoor sports events. It wasn't until the construction of the Cintas Center in 2000 that the Fieldhouse lost most of its use. Now the Fieldhouse is used by multiple club teams and houses one of the two athletic training sites on Xavier's campus.

Additional Notes:

  • The Fieldhouse was dedicated on the evening of the first basketball game between Xavier and the University of Cincinnati. Xavier had taken the victory with a score of 29-25.
