Jorge Selva

Teaching Professor, Management & Entrepreneurship

Jorge Selva joined the Williams College of Business faculty in 2022 following his 27+ year career as an international executive with Procter & Gamble, working across global brands, categories, channels, customers and countries.

His extensive experience at P&G involved leadership positions including: Global Sales Leader - Personal Care, U.S. Sales Strategy Leader, National Category Sales Director, U.S. Ethnic Sales Director, Target Team Leader, and Diversity Recruiting Leader for the U.S. Sales Function. He also had two international expatriate assignments based in Colombia and Venezuela.

Of his many responsibilities at P&G, his role as leader and coach of multifunctional organizations provided him the greatest sense of fulfillment. This led to Jorge starting an independent consulting and executive coaching business. He is a champion of diversity, and an engaging driver of people attaining their optimal personal and professional success.

Jorge completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at San Diego State University, and earned an Executive MBA at Xavier University. He attended both the London Business School and the United States Military Academy at West Point, participating in their Executive Leadership programs.

Jorge currently teaches courses in Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, and is the Director of the Xavier Next – Sales Track Program, designed for students with a desire for a career in Sales. He is also a member of the Marketing Department's Advisory Board and a faculty advisor to the Minorities in Business club.
