New Media Acquisitions
In accordance with Xavier University's Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Policy, University Library is committed to diversity and fostering a culture of full inclusion for our patrons by striving to provide equitable access to library resources. Students who need an alternative media format due to an accessibility accommodation should contact the the Office of Accessibility and Disability Resources for assistance.
Turnaround Time
Readily available content can usually be acquired, cataloged, and ready for use within 2-3 weeks.
Questions about the status of an order may be directed to Sydney Sparks, Electronic Resources and Acquisitions Librarian.
Order Deadline
The deadline for submitting faculty orders is the end of March. This is to allow ample time to receive and pay for the materials before the end of the fiscal year. After the deadline is past, the remaining funds revert to the general library fund and are spent on materials selected by the librarians.
