Summer Reading Challenge 2024
This year's summer reading challenge runs from May 20 to August 2. The challenge is open to all current Xavier faculty, staff, and students.
Win prizes for reading! Track the number of pages for each unique book you read during the challenge. For e-books and audiobooks, verify the number of pages in the actual print book using Amazon or another source. Ask a librarian if you need help!
First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded to the three readers with the most pages. An additional prize will be awarded to one randomly drawn "Book Bingo" participant. Winners will be notified by email after August 2.
Optional "Book Bingo"
If you would like to participate in the bingo, download an editable PDF bingo form or print this bingo sheet and fill out the categories with the books you read. At the end of the challenge, email your sheet to libcirc@xavier.edu to submit your bingo wins. Each completed row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) wins an entry in our random raffle (maximum of one sheet and one bingo per row).
Celebrate with us: Join us for the Summer Reading open house in the CLC 3rd floor atrium on August 2, noon-1pm. Enjoy refreshments and see what our participants read throughout the summer!
