Collection Development
Department Description
The goal of collection development services is to maintain a collection of library materials that supports the needs of the university community. The collection consists of a wide range of resources which include print and electronic books and journals, audiovisual and multimedia materials, and online databases. Library Liaison Program
Open communication between collection development services and academic departments is provided through the library liaison program. Library liaisons work with their respective departments in collection development and resource selection for existing as well as new courses and programs.
Location
Collection Development is located on the 2nd floor of the McDonald Building, Room 210.
Hours
Collection development services are available from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday on those days that the library is open.
Staff
Collection development staff include one full-time librarian and one full-time assistant.
