Major Requirements
1. Global Business Skills
12 credit hours: (take all four courses)
- International Management (MGMT 325) or International Marketing (MKTG 320)
- International Finance (FINC 476)
- International Business Capstone (BUAD 495)
- Note: MGMT 325 unless Management Concentration then take MKTG 320 and MKTFG320 unless Marketing Concentration then take MGMT325)
3 credit hours: (take one of the following)
- International Economics (ECON 450)
- International Human Resources (SHRM 325)
- Economics of Developing Countries (ECON 341)
2. Study Abroad
International business majors are required to complete summer-long or semester-long study abroad or work abroad in a country other than one's native country. Students can learn more by working with Xavier's Center for International Business to take advantage of the University's study abroad programs and other opportunities. Note that two additional courses of second language may be substituted for the international experience.
3. Modern Language
Students must complete one language through 202.
