Anti-Hate & Inclusion Task Force

  • Interested in supporting communities on campus impacted by hate or bias? If so, consider joining the Anti-Hate & Inclusion Task Force. Beginning in October, the group will meet monthly and task force members can also take our mediation training to serve as ‘First Responders’ for individuals impacted by anti-hate or bias on campus. Spring 2025 Book Club

As part of the Division of Ignatian Belonging's mission to create an equitable and informed campus, we are happy to announce our reading club for this semester. Please complete the following form if you are interested in joining the club. We have a limited number of books/seats so if you are interested, please sign up quickly to get a copy of the book. This reading club will meet every other Wednesday during lunchtime from 12:00 pm till 1:00 pm.

This Spring semester, we will read Rohit Bhargava and Jennifer Brown's "Beyond Diversity: 12 Obvious Ways to Build a More Inclusive World".

This book is an insightful guide that tackles the complexities of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in modern society. It presents actionable strategies to create a more inclusive world, drawing from personal stories, interviews, and research. If you are interested in exploring areas where we as individuals and and as an organization can foster meaningful change, then consider joining us.

Center for Diversity & Inclusion Updates and Engagement Opportunities

First Steps

During the summer, the CDI team implemented the First Steps program designed for entering students who are First Generation and/or Students of Color but are open to all interested students. Enrolled students completed a summer three-credit hour core course, take GOA as a cohort, and are assigned a faculty mentor.
