Certificate in Pre-Medical Studies
This certificate program is designed for students who are not seeking a degree, but who want to prepare for admission to medical school. Medical schools generally expect their applicants to have the equivalent of a bachelor's degree along with the four years of science courses required for this certificate. They are:

General Biology I and II (BIOL 160-163) at 8 credit hours.

General Chemistry I and II (CHEM 160-163) at 8 credit hours
- General Chemistry I and II (CHEM 160-163) at 9 credit hours.
- Organic Chemistry I and II (CHEM 240-243) at 8 credit hours.
- College Physics I and II (PHYS 160-163) at 8 credit hours.
Important Advising Note - Most medical schools also require undergraduate course sequences in calculus and English composition for admission.
