3.9 - VOLUNTARY AND INVOLUNTARY LEAVES OF ABSENCE
The University is committed to the ongoing safety, health, and well-being of members of its community. These Policies are designed to offer clarity regarding processes and expectations for both voluntary and involuntary leaves of absence. These policies will address processes for students wishing to access a voluntary leave of absence for health-related and other concerns. This policy will also address the University’s involuntary leave process which is facilitated by the Dean of Students or designee for response to student behavior that may threaten the safety, health, or well-being of any member of the university community, and behavior that is significantly disruptive to the University community or any member of the community.
