Heartland Trans Wellness
Heartland Trans Wellness Group is a Cincinnati, Ohio based project dedicated to creating accessible, affirming community resources for Midwestern trans, queer, and LGBTQPIA people. Heartland Trans Wellness Group provides accessible, inclusive, and affirming resources to community members and service providers through comprehensive educational programming, community building, creative cultural growth, and socially just activism.
Safe and Supported
Safe and Supported is a community project with the goal of preventing and ending LGBTQ youth homelessness in Hamilton County, Ohio. This project began out of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) Youth Homelessness Prevention Initiative, led by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
PFLAG Cincinnati
PFLAG Cincinnati is a non-profit organization of volunteers who offer support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex individuals, families and friends in a safe and caring environment.
Living With Change Foundation
Living With Change supports a commitment to fostering collaborative relationships on a local, national, and global scale with particular respect to sexual, romantic/emotional, and gender identities. LWC is an inclusive non-profit that provides education, support, resources, and advocacy for the LGBQ+ and Transgender community in the Greater Cincinnati area and beyond. Living With Change facilitates LGBQ+ and Transgender visibility by promoting and enhancing awareness, understanding, and acceptance through collaborative relationships, LGBTQ+ specific trainings, and intersectional educational/programmatic initiatives that center around the holistic wellness of our community.
Cincinnati Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber of Commerce for the gay and lesbian and GLBT Supportive community in Greater Cincinnati. Connecting gay and lesbian consumers to area businesses for 21 years.
Campus Pride
Campus Pride represents the only national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for student leaders and campus groups working to create a safer college environment for LGBT students. The organization is a volunteer-driven network “for” and “by” student leaders. The primary objective of Campus Pride is to develop necessary resources, programs and services to support LGBT and ally students on college campuses across the United States.
Human Rights Campaign (HRC)
The Greater Cincinnati Chapter as part of the National Human Rights Campaign and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation together serve as America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve LGBTQ equality. By inspiring and engaging individuals and communities, The Greater Cincinnati HRC chapter strives to end discrimination against LGBTQ people locally and realize a world that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.
GLSEN
GLSEN (pronounced "glisten") was founded in 1990 by a small, but dedicated group of teachers in Massachusetts who came together to improve an education system that too frequently allows its lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) students to be bullied, discriminated against, or fall through the cracks. Every day GLSEN works to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. Together, we can transform our nation’s K-12 schools into the safe and affirming environment all youth deserve.
The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project is an American non-profit organization founded in 1998 focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth. Through a toll-free telephone number, it operates The Trevor Lifeline, a confidential service that offers trained counselors.
