The CDI offers a number of unique staff-led support and community groups for students. See the information below for descriptions, meeting dates and times, as well as contact information for the CDI staff lead.

For the Fall 2024 semester, Queeries will be held on the following Tuesdays from 6-7pm in the CDI (GSC 280), unless otherwise noted. This is a closed space for students that self-identify as LGBTQ+. If you have any questions please contact cdi@xavier.edu.

Barber Shop Talk

Open conversations on topics impacting men of color. Enjoy the opportunity to meet and fellowship with other men of color including students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Food will be provided. If you have questions, please contact Sam Terry.

Join us for a brown skinned girl table talk focused conversation on topics affecting women and non-binary people of color. If you have questions, please contact Diamond Brown or Tamara Serrano Chandler. Fall 2024 meetings will be held on Mondays from 4-5pm in the CDI (GSC 280) on the following dates.

Removing the Mask

The CDI and Counseling Services are joining forces for Removing the Mask, a support group for students of color at the intersection of mental health and wellbeing. Removing the Mask will be held bi-weekly from 4-5pm in the CDI (GSC 280) on the following dates for Fall 2024. If you have questions, please contact Diamond Brown or Nailah Johnson.
