CDI Native American Heritage Month Tabling Event
November 1 | 11:00-1:00pm | GSC 1st Floor
Join the CDI team at an informational tabling event in GSC. Check-in to the event to be entered into a raffle to receive a t-shirt or Native authored book. This year’s shirt give away will be an Orange shirt that is a symbol of “National Truth and Reconciliation day”. This day was established to recognize the impact that the residential school systems had on Native children, families and communities. Though originally started in Canada National day of Truth and Reconciliation or Orange shirt is observed in the United States as well as has begun to gain global recognition. Food Truck Friday

Join the Office of Student Involvement with Food Truck Friday featuring local culinary professional, Indigenous Chef. With a food truck journey that began more than 7 years ago, Indigenous Chef, has been serving up fresh delicious flavors. Their menu is unique, honoring the rich culinary traditions of both Native and Latin American cuisine. Limited to the first 150 people.
