Competition Details
Every year for Digital Learning Day, we celebrate digital literacy by holding a digital media competition. Xavier staff, faculty, and students can submit their photography, graphic art, video, and audio projects.
Entry Options:
- Photography
- Graphic Art (graphic design, meme, poster, etc.)
- Video
- Audio (podcast episode, music recording, etc.)
- A.I. - Flex your prompt skills and submit an image created/edited with AI (MidJourney, Generative fill with Photoshop, FireFly, etc.).

Details / Rules
- Only current Xavier students, faculty, and staff may enter
- A minimum of five entrants are required for the contest to run.
- Only non-professionals may enter (for example, a professional graphic designer may not submit in the Graphic Art category)
- Only one submission per category, but you may submit in multiple categories. For example, you can submit one photograph and one video, but not multiple photographs.
- Derogatory/explicit entries will not be accepted.
- Previously submitted work (from 2024 or previous years) may not be submitted this year.
- First prize: $50 Amazon gift card, runner-up: $25 Amazon gift card
Voting
- Votes must be cast from a valid Xavier email address
- A person may be allowed to cast one vote per day per category
- If it is determined that there are invalid votes (fake email addresses, etc.), you may be disqualified from the contest.
